By H. Nichole Jelks

H. Nichole Jelks is the youngest of eight children. This large family experience provided her with early insights into the complex relational dynamics that she addresses throughout this book.
Her spiritual foundation was established at her family church where she served in multiple capacities of ministry. She is a licensed Evangelist, an ordained Elder, and holds a B.A.in General Ministry. Nichole has twenty plus years in Information Technology and current role as CEO of Executive Motions LLC provide her with valuable organizational and interpersonal insights that inform her approach to church challenges.
The writing of "Fixing the Problem" emerges from H. Nichole Jelks’ passionate commitment to her core ministry desire: pleasing the Lord and winning souls for the kingdom of God. Having witnessed patterns of church hurt across multiple ministry contexts—from traditional church settings to contemporary apostolic environments—she brings both prophetic clarity and ministry tenderness to addressing why people leave churches wounded rather than healed. Her multicultural ministry experience, combined with her academic training and diverse church service, equips her to offer practical solutions rooted in the transformative power of authentic relationship with God. She writes not as a detached expert but as a fellow minister who has seen how church hurt drives people away from the very community designed for their healing, and who remains committed to the church becoming the sanctuary of restoration Christ intended it to be.
